(July 17, 1796 - February 22, 1875) was a French landscape painter and printmaker in etching. Corot was the leading painter of the Barbizon school of France in the mid-nineteenth century. Alfred Bastien
(16 September 1873e7 June 1955) was a Belgian artist, academic and soldier. He attended the Academie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Ghent, where he studied with Jean Delvin. He then enrolled in the Academie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, where he studied with Jean-François Portaels. He won the Prix Godecharle there in 1897. He traveled to Paris, where he enrolled in the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He was in Paris when hostilities broke out in what would become the First World War.
DUJARDIN, Karel
Dutch Baroque Era Painter, ca.1622-1678 Dutch painter and etcher. He studied with Berchem and in Italy. Dujardin was particularly successful in painting landscapes with figures and animals, and he made some 51 fine etchings of similar subjects.
